Puppies and Learning

Puppies in certain sense behave like small children. If they not taught early enough what means yes and what means no there is a great possibility that their owner will face some difficulties when starting with training. As son as puppies start walking and exploring the world they became aware of their existence and environment they live in.

Puppies require special care and to be regularly petted. Through petting that is required from the first day they were born puppies get used to humans and become socialized but they also require a lot of patience, consistence and discipline. Puppies are very curious about everything but they are not always able to understand what their guardian wants from them. Puppies have limited capacities to learn and understanding until they three weeks old when they start to explore the environment they live in and learn through play. However, if being consistent for example always feeding the puppies at the same play and at the same time and not allowing puppies to enter all rooms in the apartment they will eventually get used to certain discipline and rules, and will not have any difficulties with following the same rules when becoming older. However, in disciplining puppies is also necessary a lot of patience because it takes time before they adopt certain rules.

Very important is also the time when puppy is brought to a new home. The majority experts agree that the best time to bring a puppy to his new home is when he is 8 weeks old when he is still young enough to easily bond to his new family.
