Communication with the Dog

The majority of dog owners expect from their dog to obey on their command but in reality there are many dogs who tend to disobey every once in a while. Dogs usually do not have any problems obeying few basic commands such as sit and come but when something attracts their attention many dogs decide to ignore their guardians while they shouting and screaming. People like to think the reason why their dog misbehaves and disobeys lays in dog's character but in majority of cases guardians were the one who did something wrong or failed at one particular point.

Every dog trainer will say that the most important thing for successful completion of dog training is communication. Dogs are capable both to understand and communicate with their owners in a very special way. They understand a lot of what is actually being said to them and they certainly understand the meaning if speaking more loud or even shouting. Dogs also understand body language and thus they can also tell if someone is happy, angry or sad.

While training the dog and trying to make him understand what is required from him every dog owner should not never neglect signals his dog is sending. Every dog signals his emotional state and for that reason one should also pay a lot of attention to the dog's emotional state. If the dog looks confused he does not understands what certain command means. For that reason desired behavior and obedience of a dog can be accomplished only through good communication which requires understanding from both sides.
